Based in Belfast, Rory Nellis is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist. His style of folk-pop and indie-rock draws inspiration from life, death, relationships and politics, making him the perfect fit for fans of Wilco, Villagers and Duke Special.
He has gained support from BBC Radio Ulster, RTE, 2FM and toured extensively, playing at notable festivals and venues CQAF (Belfast), Other Voices (Dingle), Whelan’s (Dublin) and The Bluebird Cafe (Nashville). In January 2022 he released his third studio album Written & Underlined and it received a Best Album nomination at the NI Music Prize.
Dublin’s multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Phil D’Alton, former member of John Shelley & The Creatures will support Rory on the evening. Phil has performed on RTE’s Late Late Show and recently produced for NI Music Prize winner Joshua Burnside.
