Terri Hooley, founder of Good Vibrations Records, poet, blarney merchant, Bangor resident and latter-day legend, recently celebrated his 75th birthday. To mark this milestone event, his journalist friend Stu Bailie has published a book, Terri Hooley: Seventy-Five Revolutions. This fond tribute has grown into a podcast series, set for an online release in Spring 2024. A highlight of the series will be this podcast, recorded in front of a live audience at the Court House, chaired by Charlene Hegarty, music industry professional and Talent Development Manager at the Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast. Expect laughter, insights, bickering and intimate moments with a figure that has imprinted on Sixties counterculture, punk rock, ‘Teenage Kicks’, a film, a stage musical and more.
Copies of Terri Hooley: Seventy-Five Revolutions will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
Finishes at 6.00pm.
