For Another Path is turning Five. Help us celebrate with music from Davy Lennon, the results of our Photo Competition plus drinks and banter.
This September, it will be five years since members of the community got together with concerns about a planning application that we felt would fundamentally alter the character of our wonderful North Down Coastal Path.
The rest is history. Our fabulous group has gone from strength to strength and become well known as a forum from which to cherish our unique coastal path. We have made friends from all over the borough and, along with other groups, continue to engage with council to ensure that the path is loved, maintained and – as far as possible – saved from inappropriate damage.
To mark five years of friendship and enjoyment of all things coastal path, we’re planning a celebration. Our FAP photo competition winners will be announced and each receive a wonderful seal sculpture created and donated by local artist, Sharon Regan.
Local photographer Liane Radcliffe has agreed to judge the photo competition and the overall winner will also receive a framed Liane Radcliffe print of one of her own shots that she’s kindly donating.
Supported by the Court House and Retirement Planning Expert by Allan Esler Smith. Any funds in excess of running costs will be donated to Ulster Wildlife.
