It’s five years since members of the local community came together to protect the North Down Coastal Path under the name of For Another Path. Since then the group has gone from strength to strength, making friends all over the borough, and establishing itself as a forum that works to cherish our unique coastal path and ensure it is loved, maintained and protected from over-development.
To mark five years of friendship and enjoyment of all things coastal path, the group is holding a celebration in the Court House. This includes announcement of the winners of a photo competition, featuring best photos of the coastal path, with judging by local photographer Liane Radcliffe. Winners will receive a ceramic seal sculpture, created and donated by local artist, Sharon Regan, and the overall winner will also receive a framed Liane Radcliffe print.
The evening will include live music from David Lennon and friends, and the bar will be open.
The event is supported by Retirement Planning Expert (Allan Esler Smith). Any funds in excess of running costs will be donated to Ulster Wildlife.
