Joachim Cooder grew up surrounded by music alongside his legendary guitarist father Ry Cooder. From an early age Joachim was on the road with Ry sharing stages with Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, John Lee Hooker, Mavis Staples and the award-winning Buena Vista Social Club. Joachim is now an established songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released a handful of recordings and continues to tour across America and Europe. He blends percussion, strings, and vocals into ‘a living animal all its own’.
