Lemoncello are Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella, a duo who charm audiences with irresistible chemistry, charisma and humour. Their voices cut through a minimal and dramatic soundscape, warmth and grit from the cello and cyclical trance-like guitar. The music is embedded in Irish and folk roots entwined with off-kilter indie pop, jazz and contemporary classical music. Lemoncello are a vital voice in the thriving alternative folk scene in Ireland and have collaborated with artists like Lisa O’Neill and Glen Hansard.
