If you don’t already know them, The 1977 are Bingy & Gerry (Arms of Venus de Milo), Justin (The Foyer Incident), and Andy (Liberty Arcade). They rocked Ward Park this summer with their classic punk and new wave covers of The Jam, SLF, The Clash and The Ramones. If you weren’t dancing, then you weren’t there.
Five-piece Meraki play (mostly) classic rock covers, and became a Court House favourite this year with their popular Sunday afternoon Drawing Room series, bringing their unique “electric eclectic jukebox and guilty pleasures of rock and pop”.
