The Viper Club is a highly acclaimed European hot jazz quartet renowned for reviving the swinging, pre-eminent sound of the 1930s Onyx Club. Led by the award-winning Belgian violinist Tcha Limberger and French trumpeter Jérôme Etcheberry, the acoustic, drumless band, which features a rhythm section of Dave Kelbie on guitar and Sebastien Girardot on bass, delivers high-energy, classic jazz reminiscent of the most compelling, hard-swinging recordings to come out of New York in the mid 30s by Stuff Smith and Jonah Jones.
