Brian Carson was the founder of Moving On Music — the leading promoter of jazz, folk, roots, traditional, classical and “other” music in Belfast and beyond. Brian retired a few years ago and moved to Bangor. He’s had a lifelong interest in and love of jazz music in all its forms: from Sidney Bechet to Irreversible Entanglements. This DJ set will feature greats such as Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins and Duke Ellington but might get sidetracked into the worlds of Joni Mitchell, Captain Beefheart or Tom Waits. Come along and be intrigued or maybe even challenged.
