Old friends Ross Murray and David Campbell dust off their records for a night of hip-hop, breaks, neo-soul and r&b.
Ross and Soupy grew up together spending many summer nights along the Bangor coastline with a ghetto blaster soaking in the sounds of the likes of Madlib, ATCQ, Erykah Badu, Mos Def and DJ Shadow, the lion’s share of music leaking from Ross’s dad’s shop – the well known Underground Music.
Both are passionate record enthusiasts, skilled DJs, and Soupy is behind the Belfast Drum & Bass night Crilli. They rarely play together these days so we’re looking forward to their Friday night soundtrack.
