A bit of a departure for the April Book Club as we step back in time to celebrate two significant literary anniversaries. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald marks its 100th birthday on 10th April, while To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee will be 65 in July.
We’ll be discussing how the two novels have stood the test of time and considering the impact they have made on our literary and cultural landscapes. Panellists are Hugh Odling Smee, Film Hub NI project manager and founder of Whittrick Press, and author and journalist, Fionola Meredith. Chairing the discussion is writer and Open House PR, Lesley Allen.
