Featuring Leon Buckley on saxophone, Zak Irvine on keys, Rohan Armstrong on bass, and Steve Davis on drums.
Leon Buckley is a third generation saxophonist of the Buckley musical dynasty, following in the family tradition after his father Michael Buckley and grandfather Dick Buckley who set the standard for jazz musicians of their generation. Leon’s uncle, the great Richie Buckley, has recorded and played live with Freddie Hubbard, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan.
Now in his final year of Dublin City University’s jazz degree, Leon has become a popular fixture on the city’s jazz circuit, representing the next generation of exciting young jazz musicians.
