Belfast born, Bangor bred DJ Dee is bringing his world of soul music to The Drawing Room. DJ Dee, aka David Brown, is a lover of and an avid vinyl collector of soul music. His record collection spans from the 60s to present and across many genres including northern soul, neo soul, rare groove and funk.
Slipped Disc Music Club – an initiative that gives a platform to the more seasoned members of our artistic community who are the backbone of the live music scene. Slipped Discs are DJ sets by local music enthusiasts – many of whom have never had the chance to share their extensive record collections before. Our DJs and producers are chosen for their knowledge and enthusiasm for music. We don’t tell them what to play and we support their ’no requests’ policy. These are the people who buy records, buy tickets for concerts, carry the songs and stories, and live and breathe music – they are the unsung heroes of the music industry.
