Jerry Leger is a singer-songwriter from the East End of Toronto. He cut his first independently released album at just 19 and since then, the prolific singer-songwriter has recorded 10 additional albums under his own name, with the last 4 released via Cowboy Junkies’ label, Latent Recordings.
Released in March of 2022, Jerry’s album Nothing Pressing (produced by Michael Timmins) pairs evocative lyrics are wonderfully crafted melodies, soulful vocals and the spirit and energy of a mature songwriter. He cites the music of Hank Williams, Leonard Cohen, Elvis Costello, the Everly Brothers and Neil Young as influences.
