Belfast-based Monday’s Child blend upbeat rock with moody, ethereal pieces. An all female 4-piece, the band is influenced by hard rock, punk and alternative sounds. With recent support slots for Pillow Queens and Cherym, Monday’s Child were included in Hot Press’ “Hot for 2025” list. Monday’s Child consists of McKay sisters Jen (vocals), Lauren (guitar), Clara (bass), and friend Caitlin Lenfestey (drums). Influences include Hole, Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley and Alice in Chains.
