Carrying on a proud musical legacy, Na Leanaí is the next generation of the renowned Sands Family from Co. Down. The name Na Leanaí, Irish for “the children,” perfectly captures the close-knit quartet of cousins and siblings who grew up immersed in the rich tradition of folk music. Formed in 2014, they have extensively toured across Europe with their intricate arrangements of both traditional and original songs on fiddle, flute, guitar, whistles, and percussion. Fiddle player and vocalist Ryanne Sands is now married into the musically renowned McClean family of Bangor, forging an even stronger connection between Na Leanaí and the local music scene.
