Love the idea of hand sewing but don’t know where to start? Or do you just want a fun and sociable way to stitch and relax? Join The Dressmaker’s Apprentice for Sip + Sew, a monthly hand sewing workshop.
This month, we’ll explore the bold and beautiful art of Mola, a traditional textile technique from the Guna people of Panama and Colombia. In this special hand sewing session, you’ll learn the basics of reverse appliqué to create your own vibrant Mola-inspired design.
No experience needed, just bring your curiosity, steady hands, and love for colourful textiles. All materials will be provided on the night. Come along for a fun, relaxed session and discover the joy of hand sewing.
