Join The Dressmaker’s Apprentice for an enchanted evening of relaxed hand sewing where creativity meets sustainability. In February, as the chill sets in, there’s no better time to cozy up and craft your own pair of stylish mittens. But here’s the twist – we’ll be upcycling a pair of old jogging bottoms to breathe new life into them as fashionable mittens! By repurposing materials, we’re not only reducing waste but also creating something beautiful and unique. Open to beginners and those who may have sewn before, the evening includes:

  • Step-by-step guidance on transforming jogging bottoms into mittens, with pre cut pattern pieces
  • A variety of hand sewing techniques and inspiration
  • The opportunity to unleash your creativity with customizable designs and embellishments
  • Connecting with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability and sewing

All materials are provided but you are also welcome to bring along your old jogging bottoms if you prefer to use these.

Add a personal touch to your winter wardrobe while making a positive impact on the planet. Reserve your spot today and let’s stitch our way to warmth and style.

Please note this event is fully seated. If you have any accessibility requirements please get in touch with us here.
