The Sundown Sessions present Makeshift Art Bar and Junk Drawer
Makeshift Art Bar burst onto the Belfast scene in 2023, selling out several shows in the city in their first year. Debut single ‘Inertia’ is wholly representative of the live experience where the band echoes the sounds of influences such as The Birthday Party and Bauhaus. As well as their own shows, they have opened for other acts in renowned venues such as The Limelight. This performance in the Court House will mark their Bangor debut.
Junk Drawer are four multi-instrumentalists creating post-punk and psychedelic sounds that have seen them become a big name on the Northern Irish music scene. They recently toured around the UK and France and performed at the famed SXSW festival in Texas. Their latest EP, ‘The Dust Has Come To Stay’ gained critical acclaim from the likes of KEXP, Stereogum, and Bandcamp.
