XSLF started in 2013 when original Stiff Little Fingers guitarist Henry Cluney and former bandmate Jim O’Reilly got in touch after many years. Henry had been playing solo but wanted to form a band. As a band they only play music they were actually involved in so that means the first three SLF records – Inflammable Material, Nobody’s Heroes, and Go For It. Since then they have toured and written new material. The current lineup is a punk powerhouse and a celebration of those early SLF days.
