Johnny Hash describe themselves as “a great wee band from Belfast”. The Celtic folk-punk seven-piece get together for the joy of playing old Irish ballads in their own unique style. You may have heard several members of the outfit play in Doghouse Ska but you probably haven’t heard tunes like ‘Star Of The County Down’ or ‘The Leaving Of Liverpool’ performed quite like this. Don’t expect to hear anything from the “Man in Black” though, that’s a whole other Johnny entirely.
